Barrel & Bond was formed by a group of Industry professionals from the worlds of whisky, drinks, Investment & passion-based commodity brought together by a shared love of whisky, and a shared belief that it deserves to be offered with care & fun. Experience brought us together, but passion is what shaped this syndicate. A shared belief that whisky deserves to be treated with care, integrity, and respect.

Brendan McCarron
Co-Founder & Strategic Advisor
Master Distiller | Master Blender | Industry Expert
One of the most respected figures in the global whisky industry, with over 20 years of hands-on experience and a passion for Whisky that runs as deep as his Scottish roots.
A rare talent, Brendan is one of the few individuals in Scotland to hold the titles of both Master Distiller and Master Blender a dual qualification that reflects his exceptional technical skill and industry insight. His career began at the iconic Glenmorangie and Ardbeg distilleries, where he helped shape some of the most revered malts in the world. Since then, he has gone on to consult for several prestigious whisky brands across Scotland, Ireland, and Japan, lending his expertise in maturation, flavour profiling, and brand positioning.

Jason Myers
With over 35 years of experience in the global drinks and hospitality industry, Jason Myers serves as Co-Founder and Chairman of Barrel & Bond, bringing deep strategic insight, operational leadership, and industry credibility to the business.
Jason began his career managing some of the world’s leading hospitality
operations, serving as Vice President of the Jumeirah Hotel Group (2010–2015) leaving a lasting impact on the luxury hospitality and beverage sector. Jason founded a hospitality group that now includes over 30 restaurants and hotels, with standout brands such as Bancone, Crust Bros, and Wylde Thyme & Honey.

David is a former private equity specialist with deep expertise in EIS funds and tax-efficient structuring. He is also the business partner of our Chairman Co own and chair and invest in many companies together. David is a highly experienced board member, and adds huge
value to B&B, He specifically advises Barrel & Bond on how to best structure offerings, helping our investors maximise returns while taking advantage of available tax reliefs.
Kenny Gray – NED -Distribution & Logistics Advisor
Kenny Gray is the Managing Director of C&C Group, one of the world’s largest alcohol manufacturers and distributors, and current Managing Director of Tennent’s Brewery in UK & Ireland. With extensive experience in global alcohol coordination and supply chain management, Kenny advises Barrel & Bond on global drinks market, bottling strategy, distribution, and logistical operations, helping us deliver a world class service.
Andrew Carr – Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary
Andrew is a qualified accountant and founder of his own accountancy firm. He oversees all financial operations at Barrel & Bond, ensuring compliance, clean cash flow, and solid financial planning.
Matt Brunt – Chief Technical Officer
Matt leads all things digital at Barrel & Bond. With a background in marketing, web design, and technical development, he is responsible for building and supporting the brand’s online infrastructure and ensuring a seamless digital experience for clients.
Caroline Phillips – Creative/Brand Director
